WB sets rewrite of 'Jetsons' script
Warner Bros. has attracted on "Chewie" scribes Van Robichaux and Evan Susser to rewrite its bigscreen version of TV toon "The Jetsons." Jesse P Line and Denise Di Novi are coming up with the live-action feature, the latter remains developing for more than ten years with a number of authors. Most recently, Adam F. Goldberg happen to be penning the script. Story will concentrate on the Hanna-Barbera show, which revolved across the existence and occasions of George, Jane, Judy and Elroy Jetson. The Tv series first broadcast in primetime in 1962 as Hanna-Barbera's Space Age counterpart to "The Flintstones." This isn't the first time a studio features typically the most popular TV skein for the silver screen. Universal released a "Jetsons" pic in 1990, directed by Ernest Barbera, co-founding father from the Hanna-Barbera company using one of the designers in the original series from 1962.
